A Chanel Flap Bag in lambskin leather. The Flap Bag has a storied history: it was first debuted by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in the '50s and then later re-envisioned by Karl Lagerfeld in the '80s.
The Flap Bag comes in many different styles. The most common materials are calfskin, lambskin and caviar, although it is available in more exotic leathers such as lizard and ostrich. The most common sizes are Mini, Small, Medium, Jumbo and Maxi. Lagerfeld's design—to which this particular bag belongs—features the Double-C turnlock closure, while Coco's original design has the iconic Mademoiselle lock.
This particular bag has both a short chain-link handle and a longer leather-woven chain strap with a leather shoulder piece. Both the handle and strap are permanently attached to the bag and cannot be removed.
Condition: Great
Overall: The exterior leather has several light scuff marks and scratches (most of the wear can be found on the bottom corners). The interior lining has two small pen mark stains. Overall, however, the wear is minor and minimal.
Accessories: Includes dustbag, box.
